Over the last few months I have been writing a lot about how to get the greatest benefit from our of griffin+row products - but feeling young and fresh also needs a fresh, young attitude.

So, if you can add to your daily griffin+row routine a positive outlook on life you will not only look younger, but you will feel younger!

Recently I met a very wise person - who pointed out to me some of the ways we can maintain a positive approach to life. The word he used was resilience - I love this word - it's about the ability to bounce back and to control our reactions to what happens to us. We know that we cannot control what happens - but we can control how we respond to what happens.

This wise person also talked about the benefit of putting things in perspective - those small things that annoy us are miniscule compared to the suffering of so many people every day on our planet. Recently I heard a young woman talk about the plight of people in Afghanistan - 60% of the population lives on less than $2 a day - I am sure there are much worse statistics in other parts of the world. So when we hit those hurdles that try us - it's helpful to think about the issues that others face every day.

I don't know anyone who has not had some challenges to address in life - but I do know there is a huge gap between those of us who face up to the challenges and make the most of sometimes difficult situations and those who don't.

My wise counsellor said that life is a series of ups and downs and once we understand that is part of our journey - we get much better at being prepared for and dealing with challenges.

So what has all this got to do with looking and feeling younger?
