Feeling young in February
As we communicate with our griffin+row customers we learn that women today are leading very busy lives and want great tips about how to stay healthy and feel young. We surveyed our friends and contacts and have come up with our top ten ideas about feeling and looking young!
- The first is that daily exercise is what keeps us fit and trim and helps us feel good about ourselves. My tip is to set aside an exercise time every morning - (so that you have time for yourself in the morning) -to prepare for the busy day ahead.
- Healthy eating: our survey told us that women feel better eating fresh healthy food. Check out your shopping trolley - is it mainly fresh or packaged?
- Have a daily project - not hard for busy women!! Boredom we find is a cause of all sorts of dissatisfaction and unhappiness.
- Commit to being happy - work out a system where you have time to do things that make you happy -a walk at sunset, going to a great movies, having a massage - its your call!
- Have an attitude of gratitude-think of all the things you have and keep focused on those. Stop worrying about what others have - it is either their good luck or hard work that has got them there! Go and see Slum dog Millionaire if you feel unlucky!!
- Treat your body well-remember the great expression-treat your body like a temple not an amusement parlour!
- Take responsibility for your own health-no-one else can make you eat or stop you exercising or being healthy.
- Love yourself-(if you don't know one else will). We found in our survey that happy women have a good opinion of themselves, without being egotistical.
- Look after your appearance. A daily - of course- griffin+row skincare regime, clean healthy hair and smart clothes really affect our feelings of youthfulness.
